“It is a rare treat to have Canadian percussionist extraordinaire Beverley Johnston join us in this thrilling concert. She brings her talents and skills on marimba and other percussion instruments to a new level, conquering not only the repertoire of her instruments, but also performing staggering versions of famous violin concertos on the marimba. We will also be featuring her multi instrument skill on a Canadian piece Radiantia, by Alice Ho. Included in this programme are an ever-popular work of Brahms & the rhythmically and cinematically evocative Rodeo Suite by Aaron Copland.” – Maestro Claudio Vena
