All the World’s a Stage

Our February concert will chase away the winter blues with a nod to the vibrant theatre scene throughout our region. Shaw Festival Artistic Director Tim Carroll will narrate Prokofiev’s masterpiece Peter and the Wolf. The theatre-inspired program includes Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Canadian composer Louis Applebaum’s Three Stratford Fanfares. Senior winners of our 2017 Young Artists’ Competition, Joshua Lee, violin, and Christina Bell, soprano, will perform.
