Marina Davis is a Toronto based Mezzo-soprano who recently completed her undergraduate degree in voice performance at The University of Toronto, where she studied under the tutelage of Monica Whicher. In 2015 Marina performed as Dorothée in the Halifax Summer Opera Festival’s production of Massenet’s Cendrillon and was a member of SongFest’s Young Artist Program. She has also appeared as Nireno in the Halifax Summer Opera Festival’s production of Handel’s Giulio Cesare and as Teria in Opera 5’s production of Hahn’s L’île du rêve. Marina is currently working in Toronto and applying to graduate school programs. She is incredibly excited to be performing with the Symphony on the Bay.

Marina will be singing Mozart’s aria “Alma grande e nobil core”, KV 578 at “Talent, Toys and Treats: A Children’s Concert” on Sunday, March 6, 2016.
